rod ever from St. Croix, I have these in 7,8 & 9 weights now with
trout weights more towards spring. St. Croix now has
the Large arbor reel perfected. This is not the former Korean
reel, this is the one made in England and its a solid large arbor for
less than $250.00.
Ross
Reels has introduced the next generation of Large Arbor technology
: The Evolution. They took the original Canyon series and
spread it out over five reels. These have the perfect ratio of

EGG
PATTERNS for Spring Steelhead/Skamania ! Just in, these are
based on Dustan Harley's egg patterns for the St. Joe. I also
have the beads to tie these patterns with, just ask and I'll be happy
to show you the quick and effective tie.
STEELHEAD
NETS from S2 products. Awesome graphite frames are
light and strong and the soft, deep cotton bag does not injure the
fish. Now available with neoprene coating on the net bag.
HI-VIS
Finally! Just the ticket for parachute posts the you can actually
see and they make great trailing shucks for those spring creek caddis
patterns, too. This is a tying material that Dennis Potter, staff tyer
for Umpqua said that I just had to have and he was right. Dennis
features this material in his video, Durable Trout Flies.
E.P. TYING MATERIALS Both silky and standard versions are synthetic, straight, but fine, long fibers that are featured on the excellent E.P. fly patterns and are now available at the store for both great salt and freshwater patterns. These fibers are especially useful for streamer, shrimp, crab and baitfish patterns where enticing looks and durability are important.
MCKENZIE VISE LIGHTS AND MAGNIFIERS Make tying a pleasure. Everyone knows that patterns look better when the tyer can see what he is doing. McKenzie lights and magnifiers are high quality products that are priced from $49 - $59 and fit on almost every vise. Lights use standard
household current and magnifiers come in both 2.5 X and 4 X powers. When you aren't using them, they handily swing out of the way. Whether traveling or tying at home you'll want to have these for your own.
C & F DESIGN BOXES As close to the perfect fly boxes as we have seen. They are fully customizable and work equally well with barbed or barbless hooks. The durable no-wear foam holds fly patterns securely by the shank and not the hook point to make these long-term boxes. A large assortment of insertable foams allow you to set up your boxes the way you like for each fishing trip - just select your various foams with the patterns you'll be using. A new foam insert also costs less than a new box and will give you absolute organization in minimum space. You will want to examine these boxes and get them on your Christmas list!
E.P. FLY PATTERNS Excellent and durable baitfish patterns for fresh and saltwater as well as crab and shrimp patterns for the flats. The baitfish patterns feature excellent animation in the water and oversize eyes that predator fish key in on. We carry sizes from crappie to billfish. These patterns are unique and will give any fisher an edge.
